Genoa / Staysail Furling / Reefing

Has anyone upgraded their headsail furling gear to reefing.
The two potential options I am considering are those offered by :-

www.aeroluffspars.co.uk and www.flexible-reefing-spars.co.uk

Both offer alternative luff spars to the standard 4 mm 1x19 luffs wire. The
objective is to have a higher degree of torsional rigidity whilst having sufficient
flexibility to allow the bowsprit to be raised and the furled sails to be
removed and transported.
