Hello everyone,
in my new album
http://http://capecutter19association.org/forum/album.php?albumid=18
I have posted a few pictures of my alteration to our furling drums.
We had the problem of the line jumping through the small gap and getting caught behind the guide. This always called for a very precarious balancing act on the bowsprit to free the line and get the sail furled in.
Bend a little piece of stainless to close the gap - problem solved.

Furler
After too many jams, I changed the furling system to a Karver 0.75
Expensive but it works well.
