Hello all

I am getting into this "Youtube" thing.

Here are my masterpieces(?) so far. I know they are not quite up to Dylan Winter's standard in " Keep Turning Left", but I am trying.

Let me know if any of these do not work.

Happy sailing

Dennis

Thanks Jack

I wish I could use Photoshop to air brush out the REAL clouds!

Actually we have been blessed with some good weather this year, I have managed seven days sailing in the past four weeks. On only two occasions I have not seen any sunshine (unfortunately, one of those was with Michiel in "Nemo") and four of the days have been virtually cloudless.

The forecast for Wednesday (27/10/10) is promising, 11˚C, cloudless and a 12mph westerly, sounds perfect for the final sail of the season. I have to take my boat off the water before 1st Nov (for insurance reasons), so I will try to make the most of it.

Cheers

Dennis

Hello Ru88ell

I would be delighted to entertain you, if you a fancy trip "up north".

Mary Ann comes out of the water next weekend:(, and I expect to relaunch in March:).

Cheers

Dennis
I was thinking about a long weekend of sailing and cycling sometime next year. I should have my own CC19 by then, so start thinking about a race course!

Hello all

Through following the thread "Trailers, what's it all about ??", I eventually followed Simon's link to the Drascombe Association forum and found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLCt8ii1paE

It is The Old Gaffers Association Race(?) on Ullswater in September 2010. It looks just like my sort of race!

Point is, where were all of the Ullswater CC19s when this was going on? DavidH... where were you?

I will look out for this one in future. Is anyone on this forum also a member of The Old Gaffers Association?

Seasons greetings to everyone

Dennis

PS Simon, I am looking forward to the new HM website on 1st Jan.:)

Hi Dennis

I have been in the Old Gaffers since 2000 when I had my Drascombe Longboat. We have been to a few events- they were very good I will probably go to more next year. There are now many events in the North, especially in the Lake District and Wales (Holyhead Maritime Festival).

This has all developed fairly recently, within the past 3 years or so.

The site is here:

Regards
