Kielder Water

Post by Greybeard »

Just had an email from the KWSC sailing club - Kielder Water and the area around it is now closed altogether  Anyone want to buy an immaculate Lune Whammel?

I got that email yesterday. I had planned to launch Mary Ann tomorrow.

Looks like I now have a fully polished, prepared, and generally ready to sail CC19 on my drive for the foreseeable future. :(
Cheers

At least you can spend the odd night aboard, Dennis. Some whale music on the cd player, a glass or three of whisky and youll be well away :) Ive got the Whammel on axle stands as I reckon on it staying there until next year now. Itll give the suspension a rest anyway. If there was a way of getting it around into the rear garden Id be sleeping aboard myself ;)

Stay safe. Steve

Hello Dennis,
I noticed your posting from 2011 when Mary Ann was already to roll.
I am just finishing my antifouling.
I am offically cocooned but I am allowed to take exercise up to 2 km from the house. It doesn't specify what constitutes exercise so I can sail 2km there and back, bits a bummer isn't.
How is the eye now?
