I want to change the double jammer I have on deck for a triple Spinlock clutch.
All my deck fittings have back plates inside the cabin. Are these specially made or can you buy them?

Re: Back plates
They are easy enough to make if you can't track any down, Julian. I made some when I fitted additional spinlocks on Falcon. Stainless steel sheet in an appropriate thickness is easy enough to obtain (if you can find a local company making stainless steel equipment such as for food processing, theyll often let you raid the scrap bin in exchange for a tea fund donation. Failing that, theres always ebay ). For drilling holes, use a low speed with plenty of pressure and oil. If you allow the drill to spin too fast without cutting it will rapidly blunt it.

Re: Back plates
I just used the original double back plate when I switched to a triple.
