Re: International Cape Cutter Week 2015
Hi,
Since Moonstruck is now at Titchmarsh it would be rude not to join in. We could not come for the first 4 or 5 days, but could manage the Friday to Sunday.
Regards,
David

Welcome to the fleet David.
That makes 15 CC19s,
but not guaranteed all at the same time.
That makes 15 CC19s,
Cheers

Re: International Cape Cutter Week 2015
Fantastic to hear so many planning to join us!
I have created an event page on the CA website: http://capecutter19association.org/unca ... week-2015/
I will update this with further information as details emerge. I have agreed a group discount at Suffolk yacht harbour and with this many boats may be able to negotiate a few more benefits.
I have also added the event to the C19 Facebook page- we'd like as many people as possible to register their interest there too please.
Closer to the time I will ask for contact info, so I can collate everyone's details and share it around.
If anyone wants any advice on how to get to SYC, trail or launch the boat, please ask. I have used the marina and its facilities are really good. There will be some really good sailing. I just need a volunteer to arrange suitable weather for us....

Oh!!! It now looks as if I have some serious competition for “The Prettiest Boat” in Titchmarsh Marina!David Hill wrote:Hi,

Dartford Crossing
A reminder for anyone travelling from the South of England and using the M25 and Dartford River crossing that payment is no longer at a toll booth! You now have to pay either on-line or at given places before midnight on the following day! This could be difficult at Suffolk Yacht Harbour unless you have mobile internet. You can pay in advance before travelling. Failure to pay before the time limit can invoke a fine of £70.00! Payment details can be found on the following website:

Re: International Cape Cutter Week 2015
Moonstruck did indeed look very pretty a few years ago - post a refit at Honnor Marine. However, the last 2 winters have not been kind and I'm in a race against time to get back to a good standard.
She is now 12 years old, and the top sides are looking a little 'tired'. Not too drastic, but enough to annoy me as I know where to look. Next winter she'll have new topsides, I think. And that way she'll be back to almost her best.
Cheers,
David

Re: International Cape Cutter Week 2015
Hello everybody
I will soon be contacting everyone who has expressed an interest in attending the "International Cape Cutter Week 2015" to obtain contact details (mobile phone numbers etc.).
Charles is currently on the Orwell visiting marinas and talking to local owners prior to finalising arrangements for the event. These will be circulated directly and also posted on the website when completed.
If anyone else would like to be included, in any capacity, participant, potential owner or spectator, please let me know so that you can be "in the loop". Either post on this thread or send an email to the webmaster.

A message from our President
Mike Brooke has sent me this email:
Hi Dennis,
Very good news that this year's rally on the R Orwell is coming good - just
hope that lots of boats participate and have a great time!
I think I mentioned it but just to confirm that I fly to Antigua on 6th May
and set sail from Tortola on the 10th May bound for Falmouth via Horta in
the Western Azores. ETA about 10 June. Final destination is Hamble where
the yacht (Bavaria 39) will be put up for sale - good yacht at a good price
if you know of anyone looking for a proven family cruiser.......
Anyhow, it sadly means that I'm not available for the Rally but please pass
best wishes from Pippa and me to one and all. I'll try and email you now
and again with progress etc!
By the way, the Theo's Future Book project has now raised over £12,000!
Many happy memories of Mylor YC last year! Folk can visit
http://www.theosfuture.org for the latest blogs etc Only 47 books left in case
anyone would like one? Reduced to just £10 a copy. My grandson, Jack, who
turned 8 yesterday requested a copy for his birthday! Admittedly, his photo
features here and there but still a good effort! Any nudges you can give on
the CC website gratefully received!
Cheers for now and have a great season,
Mike

Re: International Cape Cutter Week 2015
Hi All,
I have emailed a programme and a booking form to everyone (I hope). If you have not received it, drop me a PM. I attach a copy to this posting.
I hope the programme is varied and will provide something for everyone, and the opportunity for local owners to join in.
If you have any comments or queries, please do not hesitate to email or PM me.
