Cape Cutter Week 2014
Unfortunately I wont be able to make it to Mylor this year. I hope it is a great success and will try to come if there is a similar event in 2015

I'm hoping to send out the final instructions later this week, but beforehand I will need some information from you all. I will email you in a day or two, and as soon as I have everyone's info back I'll send it out to all.
There's still time to add more people. The long range forecast is promising, so please do come and join us.

Launching at Mylor.
I enjoyed the luxury of having a tractor to help with launching when I launched at Rutland Water at Easter.
Mylor have said they will have a tractor available on the Saturday for launching but times need to be scheduled.
I am asking for a time between 12 noon and 2pm. If anyone else is wanting to launch with a tractor Denise in the Mylor office is the person to speak to.
Cheers

I've just discovered that the Pilot Cutter World Championships are taking place at the same time as our event.
International Cape Cutter 19 Week
Pilot Cutter World Championships
Pendennis Cup
SW Region Firefly Championships
It's going to be a sailing fest for sure:It's the highlight of the Pilot Cutter year as boats from all over the country head to the St Mawes Pilot Cutter Review in this stunning Cornish harbour. There's always plenty of action on the water but the camaraderie ashore is what really makes this event special.

Guys
It might be an idea to get a chart, since there are rocks around, and navigation channels.
This one covers most of the places we'll be heading to:-

Saturday afternoon/evening at the regatta
Hi all,
I'm thinking of what we might do food-wise on the first night of our week. I think my crew will need an early night after our early start. I am going to bring some barbeque food and Russell has a Cobb barbeque, so I'm going to suggest (weather permitting) a beach party at Turnaware Point beach (maybe with the pilot cutter lot) late afternoon/early evening. This is a short trip from Mylor, so those that want to return to the marina can do. If the weather is suitable, we will probably spend that night on the pin. If the weather is wrong for that location, there are other places nearby we can go.
If we all bring a bit of bbq grub with us, it could be quite a nice ice-breaker. Who's in?
