The Cape Cutter 19 Class Association is pleased to announce the schedule for the International Cape Cutter 19 Week in Mylor, between 24th and 31st May.
Saturday 24th – Arrivals. Free sailing.
Sunday 25th – Late arrivals. Free sailing / exploring. Class dinner at Castaways, in the company of Mike Brooke, Class President.
Monday 26th – St Mawes or Falmouth raft-up. Mike Brooke talk at Mylor Yacht Club at 19:00 – 20:30.
Tuesday 27th – Gull Island, or Helford, and return.
Wednesday 28th – Truro, followed by pontoon BBQ on the Fal. Night away from MYH if it takes your fancy.
Thursday 29th – Free day. Option of low key race in the evening with Mylor Yacht Club Simply Sailing scheme. MYC bar.
Friday 30th – Helford, or Gull Island, and return. Option of MYC racing against the Shrimpers.
Saturday 31st – Free. Head off home, or stay a little longer.
We’ll caveat the above programme by adding that all activities are subject to the weather conditions on the day. You decide if you want to sail, and you are free to pick a direct or indirect course to suit the appetite and skill level on your boat.
We have arranged discounted berthing at Mylor Yacht Harbour for the week, and you must pay this before you leave. Free launching and trailer storage has been arranged, although you’ll have to pay if you want to be launched and recovered by crane.
This is the first time that the class has arranged an event like this, and we are indebted to Mylor Yacht Harbour and Mylor Yacht Club for all of the support they have offered. It would be fantastic to see as many Cape Cutter 19′s as possible on the water. It you are interested in attending please speak up on the forum, or email webmaster@capecutter19.org.

Pendennis Cup superyachts
Don't forget the Pendennis Cup racing for superyachts that week [www.thependenniscup.co.uk]. They will be racing on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday - usually out from Black Rock into the Bay. They moor on the pontoons just below the Maritime Museum in Falmouth, so ideal for a drink/meal on Events Square looking out over them (no onboard visits sadly). Red Arrows display after the final race on Saturday afternoon.

Fireflies
Also, on the first (Bank Holiday) weekend, Restronguet Sailing Club (also at Mylor Yacht Harbour, about 100m along the beach) will be hosting the SW Region Firefly Championships, so more activity to watch. They race either just out in Carrick Roads, or possibly take a trip out to the Bay, weather permitting.
