Mike Brooke's book

Postby SimonW » Mon Sep 16, 2013 3:14 pm

Mike has recently sold his Cape Cutter and she has gone to the Lake District, but he is at the Southampton Boat Show this week camping on the Honnor Marine Stand. He is launching the book about his epic 1783 nautical mile voyage around Britain in a Cape Cutter to raise money for the charity Fight For Sight.

His story is here:-

If you go, do buy his book. If you don't go, his book can be bought here:-

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of this book, Simon. My copy arrived today - it's beautifully produced and from first glance I feel it's going to be one of those books that you can't put down once you've started.
I've posted a link to it on the Drascombe Association forum which will hopefully generate a few more sales (or sails!)

Hopefully getting mike to come and talk at my club this winter!
