I did get a response from Simon:

<snip>

I will migrate the site shortly as is (it should not be a big job)- I have had problems sorting out the bit to take paypal payments which I think I have resolved.

With regards to Vbulliten we could upgrade but at a cost. For the forum size and community I would question the benefit in doing this. The YBW must have a large community- I can understand their reasons to upgrade.
That was on the 8th Feb.

New website in progress

Post by Ru88ell »

I've started work on the new website, which for now can be seen here:-

http://capecutter19association.org/

I'm shifting the content bias away from 'the boat' to 'the owners, what we do and can do with the boat'. As you can see it's also very much about Zephyr, Aurora and Mary Ann - but that's because I need decent quality images and stories about others.

If you could possibly send me a couple of images and a bio I would love to include than as I have with the three already there.

I'm taking content from the current site, but making it less wordy. Please give me a couple of weeks or so and it should be ready to go.
