I will taking Mary Ann off her mooring within two weeks, and hopefully re-launching her next March.

I hate this time of year.

I intend to get up to Kielder for a few days during the half term in a couple of weeks, Dennis. It'll be the last chance to sail Missee Lee (weather permitting) before I bring her and the daughter's Comet home to meet their new pal. ML's spent the last couple of winters up at the club so it's about time I gave her a good clean and polish again.
I'm hoping to collect Falcon this weekend from Rochdale so the driveway is going to be pretty full for while! At least until I can get Missee Lee through into the garden at the back of the house anyway.
March does seem an awfully long way off though - I sometimes wish I could hibernate.
There should be quite an Armada of Cape Cutters on Kielder next spring. I wonder what the collective noun is

There's no law which says you can't sail them somewhere else.

I had some lovely sailing when others were sat at home dreaming about it. It's what they were designed for. Trail down to the coast somewhere and get a cheap out of season B+B for a few days. Lovely.

Tayvallich looks stunning, I just love that part of the world. People jump on planes all the time when we have so much great scenery. As Russell said posting pictures or videos is compulsory when you have a Cape Cutter.

Frank Stewart (Bernicia) has stayed there and thoroughly recommended it. He described the cottage as having the world's finest jetty and that was good enough for me.

Hello - I'm coming into this as a new kid on the block, and as an aspiring CC19 owner (we've yet to find an available 2nd. hand one available, but we're looking hard)
I will endorse your indirect impression of Tayvallich, Russell. It's wonderful. We've been holidaying there for 15 years, as a base for - amongst other things - sailing a friend's Wayfarer around the general area of Islay, Jura, Colonsay and Mull. Tayvallich is where we hope to be able to base our CC19 when we are fortunate enough to be proud owners!
