Welcome to an elite group of sailors!

After a year I'm still convinced the Cutter is the Class to join.
It sails better and has more comfortable accommodaion than that
more numerous yacht design.

After 90 years the Int 14 only has c1500 dinghies registered.
As with the Cape Cutter quality not numbers is more important.

Best wishes
David and Tokoloshe111

Thanks David. So let's get a schedule of meets planned for next year. Whose coming to my launch party at ___________ on ___________? How about a Rutland weekend?

Hello Ru88ell

Contratulations on your aquisition.:)

Zephyr certainly looks distinctive in her all white livery, I recall there were some photos of her on the old Yahoo forum. No doubt you will be posting photos on here soon.

Exciting days!!!

Cheers

Dennis

PS. You will have to pester Simon to update the HM Website Owners Register, assuming that you want your details included.

Hmm... Yes I am going to update a couple of these. I normally have to trawl through my junk email folder for these, especially if they are mailed from Yahoo or gmail adresses.....

Congratulations Russel on purchasing a white one.:D Definitely a very rare acquisition. I think that there may only be one other besides Halcyon and Zephyr- Quest (Hull 28).

Regards

Simon

I'm collecting Zephyr on 20th November. :D

Due to an 'administration cock up' at work I have 5 days extra holiday next year - but I have to use it by the end of March. Any takers to join me on an inaugural short cruise on the south coast if the weather looks OK?

As well as sailing and cycling I am partial to a bit of web technology and do the odd bit of blogging. To that end Zephyr has a blog already:-

http://yachtzephyr.wordpress.com/

I can update the blog with words and pictures via my iPhone, and will be doing so from when I collect her tomorrow from Belfast. It's only a bit of fun, and it allows my mum to see what we do as a family when we're out and about. It's all free technology and very easy to do. It's taken me just a few minutes to set up this morning in amongst my calls.

It you really wanted to, you can subscribe to the blog, which means that you'll receive an e-mail each time I update it.

Folks
I'm probably going to do a few days at the end of March 2011 out of Plymouth (Mountbatten), taking in Newton Ferrers and Salcombe, or the other way to Looe and Fowey. Free launching and parking at Mountbatten.

Anyone else fancy it?

Hi Russell,
hope you're enjoying your new toy! Let's hope all the CCs can get a beer in together after the RTI race.

Cheers,

David
