Having corresponded with Simon recently over articles for this site, I realise the huge amount of work he must have been putting in. The David Peck diesel engine accounts are fascinating and leave someone like me in awe. (That is being someone whose major engineering achievement is making a gear lever extension with a J Cloth stuffed in one end to stop it vibrating...)

So my thanks to Simon for his continued work for our benefit. If anyone else gets the time to submit some cruising logs, racing write ups or similar I shall look forward to reading them. I enjoy very much the broad range of contributions to this site,
