First sail

Postby Killick Greenie » Fri Jul 05, 2013 9:43 pm

Launched today and had our first sail. Fantastic!

Launched at Woolverstone and then sailed down to Suffolk Yacht Harbour for an ice cream. We had a really nice easy run downwind with the flood and got back to the RYHC for fish and chips!

The rigging and launch went really well having taken notice of everything written on here. The boat is fantastic and sails perfectly.
Thanks for your collective help.

Well done! Don't forget to get into the habit of logging them in the 'Have you been out today?' thread.

I can remember my first time. We launched at Buckler's Hard on the Beaulieu river, and sailed to Lymington town quay.

Here's to many more sails with Winter Dreams!
