Mast raising

I will get a CC19 one day soon! :)

I'm thinking ahead, and considering keeping 'my boat' at Cardiff Bay for the odd month through the summer. The marina there has a 'dry stack' facility up river, where they keep mobo's and I could use it if I drop the mast to get under a bridge.

Questions: How long would it take to drop the mast and secure it for towing up river? How long to raise it once towed back to the marina?

Good morning Ru88ell

Having just unstepped my mast I concur with Oak. If you deploy
a mast crutch at the transom, the single operation should hold no fears.

Just check that your electric cabling is long enough to accommodate.

It would be worth pre setting the forestay bow fitting. Split pins can
be fiddly as you bridge approaches apace! That bloody forestay again.
