We can only guess why there are no photos of "below decks" in your album! ;)

That yellow kite looks interesting, presumably that is why you have fitted the backstays!

Is that a quadruple lazy-jack system I can see on the photo of the gennaker?

Is this a new record in the capecutter lazy-jack saga?:rolleyes:

More to the point, how well does it work?

Per your suggestion at your last visit, I mounted a 4th line to hold the lowered gaff in place.

I am now going to move the 3rd and 4th lines forward. This will assist in gathering up of the lower batten and
improve the stowing of the gaff.

The line lengths are adjusted to allow the upper lazy jack ring to be attached to the ram's horn at the tack and stow the
lines against the boom. The lowering and tension of the lazy jack system is controlled by independent cleats on the boom.

I told you I was a fiddler!
