Forum access problems

Hello all

I have had difficulty every morning this week with accessing this forum.

When I go the the forum page I get a vBulletin error message:

" The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later."

Anyone else having this problem?

I'm still not seeing it. When Dennis first reported it to me I had all our devices on the forum and all worked fine. I checked the host and there were no issues there either.

I still haven't seen this message.

I don't have the contact details for the host either, so have asked Simon to provide it to me. That said, the cPanel isn't showing any issues, in fact we're barely scratching the surface of the server capacity.

We have had issues with ******** in China and elsewhere trying to register for accounts. They've been eating our bandwidth, but I've blocked loads of IP addresses and it's calmed down.

For the record, I've never liked this vBulletin platform. It's difficult to understand, and quite restrictive. Maybe if we had a whip round we could migrate to something better. The other platform I use has many more users, no issues, and is very easy to manage.

Ahhh. When I log out of the forum I get the message. As soon as I log back in it's back to normal.

Can people please see if this is the same for them?
