Re: Have you been out today?
Enjoying the hospitality of Chris and Cathryn Wicks in Sunny Greece and had the pleasure of a couple of trips in Kaliope from her autumn mooring in the Pagasetic Gulf. Very light winds, but most welcome sailing. I think we'll be back...

Re: Have you been out today?
As this seems to be the last place Pwllheli is mentioned I hope I can resurrect the thread to ask about launching there.
I see the marina has a lift and a slip. Does anyone know if they have a 4WD or tractor to launch and recover trailer sailers? I believe the Partington yard opposite provides that service, but the car and trailer would then be on the wrong side of the water. I have never been lifted - I don’t even know the correct lifting points for the slings - so I’d prefer a slip.
Any tips for cruising in those parts? I am taking out friends who live in Porthmadog so there will be some local knowledge. Sailing round the Tuds has been mentioned - and ditto Bardsey Island though that would be a long day.
All the best

I know Paul (@Runrig) has launched Fraoch from Puffwelli more than once. Don’t think it’s a lift - perhaps PM him?
