Have you been out today?
We run a topic like this on my cycling group forum, and it runs and runs. When you've been out for a sail just put in a brief description of where from/to, and what it was like. It would be nice to know how often people are getting out and enjoying their Cape Cutter 19.
I'll start you off, although this is naughty as its an old one:-
Gosport to Northney via the Dolphin channel. Grey day, and 20kts from the SE.

Brilliant day today.
Kielder Water 23 C, cloudless sky, F 2-3 SE.
Slipped mooring at 10.56, sailed without stopping for 23.5 Nm, picked up mooring at 17.12. (Twice up and down lake plus some twiddly bits!)
Even made a brew and ate my ham and pease pudding sandwiches whilst sailing.
If only every day was like today!

Sailed from Loch Ranza to Largs, but was at one point heading for Ardrossen until the weather turned nasty. It's going to be horrible tomorrow too, so Zephyr is back on land, and we'll head home tomorrow.
Some great pics on the blog from a stunning evening in Loch Ranza. I'll write a proper "Shrimer Log" style report for the. Main website.

Kaliope and the Argonauts
Last week we heard that the replica of Jason's Argo was to make a 3 day tour of the Pagastic Gulf (Aegean) starting from Volos. We went out in search of her and found her just off Affissos. Then we sailed in company back to Milina. (in fact the Argo was towed)... Sounds like a story for Kaliope's Aegean Adventures... I sent in a couple of stories last year but they didn't get published... All well's well in our part of Greece despite the gloomy news...
