Hello all.

For anyone that is interested I have just posted some photos in album "Mary Ann Modifications" showing instruments, fuse panel(s) etc.

Cheers

Fixed VHF

Hi Dennis

I like your fixed VHF installation:)- how did you take the arial out though the deck- and how did you get it up the mast (and what arial did you use?)

Regards

I'm wondering about moving our panel. Meisje (was Nemo) came to us with the electrical panel on the bulkhead between the cabin and cockpit, just below the cabin ceiling. It's not fixed in very solidly and intrudes quite a way into the cabin because the fixed VHF is mounted here.

My plan is to fit a new panel further outward towards the hull, i.e. spanning the 'dead' space above the pilot berth. This panel could possibly be fitted flush with the boat's bulkhead, and would not protrude so much into the cabin.

Our batteries are currently between the pilot berths, so the distance to the panel is not too great.

Has anyone done this or got any suggestions?

Cheers,

Adrian, Meisje, No. 63
