CC19 Association Burgees

Postby Dennis » Tue Apr 01, 2014 9:37 am

The association has had produced a batch of burgees which are available for members to purchase at a subsidised price.

The burgees are 12" x 8", double sided with an opaque interleaf.

CC19 Association Members can buy them for £10 (plus £2.50 p and p) for the first one. Additional ones at £18 (inc p and p) when ordered separately, or £15.50 when ordered along with the first one.

They've cost the Association £15.48 each so it works out as a small subsidy.

Payment via bank transfer to the CC19A account:

The Cape Cutter 19 Association
Account number 28606965
Sort code 52 21 52

Or: Cheque made payable to the Cape Cutter 19 Association posted to the Treasurer (PM Greybeard for address)
Or: if it's more convenient, paypal via gift to the treasurer's email address - wotan@viking.karoo.co.uk

Hi Dennis,

what a good idea to have these burgees made.

I would like to purchase two, but live in Germany.

2 burgees with p+p would come to 28 GBP = just under 34 Euros. Would 36 Euros do the trick incl. p+p? If not, what is the going rate for us "continentals"?

Please let me know the bank data in SEPA-format - i.e. BIC and IBAN.
Happy Sailing

Hello, Stephan (and also for the benefit of other overseas members :) ).
The difference in postage costs to Europe by Airmail is negligible - I'm happy to send them at the same price as UK postage. The only additional expense would be if you wanted them sent by a tracked/signed for delivery. Unfortunately that's an additional £5.70

I've PM'd you the necessary bank/address details.

If you can get back to me later tonight with your preference and address, I can post them tomorrow. I'm going away for a couple of days cycling early in the morning so will be out of touch until I return over the weekend.

Regards. Steve

Good to know they've arrived safely.
Mine will be flapping about in the breeze on Sunday evening when I launch Falcon for the first time at Kielder Water - not that I'm at all as excited as a kid on Christmas Eve about it of course

Re: CC19 Association Burgees - ALL GONE

Postby Greybeard » Wed Jun 03, 2015 9:38 am

I'm told by Dennis that the last of the burgees went to new owners at the 2015 ICCW. Due to the number we need to order to get a sensible price, I reckon we'll have to wait a while to assess demand before having another batch made. It's something the your committee will keep under review - watch this space :)

Noted, Andy.
I have raised the matter with the 'virtual committee'. I am prepared to see what sort of price we can get another batch made up for if all are agreeable.

Hello, Folks.
I'm on the verge of placing another order for a further batch of Association burgees. As soon as I have them available I'll post another message here. Once I know the final costs involved I'll also let you know the price. As before, they will be available to full members and will be at a subsidised price.
