What is this fitting?

We’ve been having fun rigging our Cape Cutter for the first time. What is this from the box of unknown fittings... I expect it is essential.

Interesting, with that number of blocks I'd be guessing at some sort of clever lazyjacks arrangement, unless you've already found bits for that!

It’s hard to say, but it looks like it’s only a part, as the line has a bobble at each end, so it would seem that there is another line which threads through the blocks. There is no single “right” way to rig the boat and every CC I have seen had minor variations in its rigging.
