Deck hardware replacement

The prime movers for your Cape Cutter 19.....

Well done.

I also like your tender. I have been threatening to replace my GRP tender (bought for a fiver 12 years ago) with a nice (light) wooden one. My current tender is either getting heavier, the ramp at the yacht club is getting steeper or I am getting weaker. I prefer to think it is the first. ;)

Do you know how heavy your new tender is?

BTW I know that Russell has been looking into building a nesting version of the Eastport.
Cheers

Thanks Dennis

According to the blurb http://www.fyneboatkits.co.uk/plans/sailing/eastport-pram/ it's 28kg but I think by the time you put it together its going to be a bit heavier. Once its finished I'll weigh it and let you know. I have Honwave tender which is brilliant but its a two man hernia kit and stowed onboard it would take up too much room o. I like having the tender in tow so hopefully this will work out ok. It will be perfect for those lazy summer days on the hook, the tender is a simple lug rig so it should be nice for puttering about in.
cheers
